Planning a Wedding
Yes, You can get married at Monfort Heights United Methodist Church.
You don't have to be a member to be married at our church. Consultations
about weddings begin by picking a couple of dates on which you would want
to have your wedding and then calling the church office and choosing a
date. At that time, our Planning Your Wedding booklet will be mailed to
you. This booklet gives all the details involved in having a wedding at
Monfort Heights UMC. Weddings are to be booked at least six months prior
to your wedding. At least three pre-wedding visits will be scheduled with
our clergy. These pre-wedding preparation counseling times will include
wedding planning, a Marriage inventory, and conversations around topics of
importance as you enter marriage.
