Connect-Become-Serve. That is our mission here at Monfort Heights UMC. That doesn't happen by accident or osmosis. We believe there are essential precepts and principles and values that drive our motivations for being a church. Too many times people assume they will grow just by hanging around long enough.

We believe in some absolute truths. Some core values that we design our life together around.

We invite you to consider these "most important" priorities and values for Monfort Heights UMC. If these match your desired lifestyle and goals, then this is the place for you to be "elevated to new heights" Jesus came that we might have the most abundant and fulfilled life possible (John 10:10). Join us as we journey forward and upward to new levels of life. Then become all that God desires and be sent into the world to share your genuine and authentic faith.

  • We Are A Jesus Church

    We strive to be Christ-centered, keeping Jesus at the center of our beliefs and practices. He is our model, priority, passion, and pattern. He is the One who elevates us to new heights in life. (John 10:10)

  • We Are A Worshipping Church

    Individual and corporate praise and worship is vital. We are designed to worship God with our lips and our lives. Based on Psalm 150, we are to worship God in everything, because God is worthy.

  • We Are A Loving Servants Church

    We seek to operate as a loving community of servants based on Ephesians 4 and Romans 12. This is where every member sees themselves as a minister. They discover their Spiritual Gifts and serve. The leaders strive to equip every member to be a minister.

  • We Are A Missions Church

    Everyone deserves the opportunity to hear the Gospel. Therefore, we must reach the lost, the least, and the lonely from our neighborhoods all the way to the unreached peoples of the world. We are a Great Commandment and Great Commission church.

  • We Are A Family Church

    We are committed to the health and success of all families and marriages. Families come in all shapes and sizes. We believe the family in the strength of our church and society.
